Broadwindsor Cricket Club

Broadwindsor Cricket Club was founded in 1923 and since 1965 has played at the picturesque Beaminster Road ground, located on the southern edge of the village.

Broadwindsor CC play in the Mid-Wessex Cricket League on Sundays and against touring teams on Saturdays. Since 1983 the club has organised and hosted the Middleton-Hands Trophy - a mid-week evening league competition for local works and pub teams which culminates in a Finals Day in September.

We welcome new players and anyone interested in being involved with Broadwindsor CC. If you would like to find out more, please contact us here.

Please Help Us Save Broadwindsor Cricket Ground

Broadwindsor Cricket Ground

The 97-year-old Broadwindsor Cricket Club (BCC) enables more than 400 individuals per year to play. Our Ground is a picturesque rural facility that hosted 40 games in 2019. BCC is currently negotiating to buy the Ground that it has leased and played at continuously since 1965. To save this valuable heritage which provides a real backbone for the rural social landscape in West Dorset, we must raise £10k’s. We are seeking financial support from all players, friends and supporters to save our Club which will cease to be viable if we should lose our ground.
