Broadwindsor Cricket Club was founded in 1923 and since 1965 has played at the picturesque Beaminster Road ground, located on the southern edge of the village.
Broadwindsor CC play in the Mid-Wessex Cricket League on Sundays and against touring teams on Saturdays. Since 1983 the club has organised and hosted the Middleton-Hands Trophy - a mid-week evening league competition for local works and pub teams which culminates in a Finals Day in September.

Broadwindsor CC celebrated a successful season at their presentation evening at The Knapp Inn on Sunday 26th September.
The club finished as runners-up in both mid-Wessex League competitions, in total winning 8 out of their 14 games.
The individual honours were handed out with 14 year old Jack Ronan taking the Bowling and Young Player of the Year trophies as he finished as the club’s leading wicket taker with 17, including his first 5 wicket haul.
The Batting trophy was won by Ali Crawford whose 397 runs came at an average of 56.71, Crawford also picked up the Player of the Year trophy as he chipped in with 13 wickets.
The Chairman’s Award for services to the club went to Nick Hollely who played a huge role with the crowdfunder campaign to save the club.
Skipper Ade Phillips also gave his thanks to secretary Lesley Waring for her dedicated work behind the scenes, umpires Ian Johnson and Steve Phillips, and the rest of the committee for their hard work and commitment to the club.
Unfortunately due to a COVID outbreak the All Stars v Broadwindsor CC match scheduled for Saturday 18th September has been postponed until next season.
The new date for the game will be announced in the winter along with the clubs other fixtures.
